Dr. White will take a detailed health history to understand the factors that are promoting your chronic pain. That consultation includes a history of the present illness, aggravating and mitigating events, pain questionnaires, and much more.

After your consultation, you can expect a thorough and detailed orthopedic and neurologic examination including:

  • vital signs
  • reflexes
  • muscle strength
  • range of motion to assess the health of the joint surfaces
  • neurologic testing to determine the health of the nerves leading to the painful region
  • orthopedic maneuvers to test the integrity of the joints and soft tissues supporting the joints.
  • Digital x-rays, taken right on-site to determine that exact nature, location, and extent of your injury.

These things are done in order to get a complete picture of your condition.
